Named for Alfonso Giacomo Gaspare Corti. It wasn't until assembling this reissue that I realized that the anniversary of Corti's death is October 2nd, 1876, near the recording/release time of this. The sounds are generated by what could be described as an amplified amplifier, the same technique employed to record "Apostata Capiendo" which was released later by FM Dust. This is another "lossy master" recording -- lossless masters were discarded in favor of a 320 kpbs MP3 file.
