Recorded in October 2010 when I was studying music therapy at Eastern Michigan University. Music therapists use the term "intervention" to describe a controlled musical activity with specific therapeutic ends in mind. "Intervention #1" is a direct attempt at self-therapy, playing music to improve my outlook on life. This always has, and continues to be, one of music's uses in my life.
